Dr. Christian Feickert |
Located about 12 miles east of the Rhine River in the southwestern German municipality of March lies the village of Buchheim, where Dr. Christian Feickert designs and builds world-class turntables.
For more than two decades, Dr. Feickert has offered high performance turntables to the hi-fi listening audience. Using his training in physics as his guide, Christian Feickert has created a design philosophy that offers both high performance and high adaptability that allows for the use of most tonearms available on the market. This is important to those who have a favorite tonearm, but need a new or better turntable.
Using an ingenious armboard positioning design, depending upon the Feickert model, tonearms from 205mm to 345mm in effective length can be accommodated without drilling additional mounting holes in the plinth. The system uses a slot in the plinth and a mounting slide that holds the tonearm collar. This system also aids in setting the correct pivot-to-spindle distance of the tonearm, making installation and setup of a tonearm relatively simple, and it also means you can change your tonearm just by obtaining an armboard for your tonearm from us.

Because of the variety of choices available when building a Dr. Feickert turntable, they are not available through our Online Store. They can be purchased in our showrooms, by telephone, and by email. Please note that not all finishes and tonearm configurations are stocked and must be ordered from the factory. Normal delivery is four to six weeks from the time the order is placed.

Dr. Feickert’s entry level turntable is anything but entry level. For many people it would be a final destination on the way to true high-fidelity sound.
